Wedding – Sam & Natasha

It was a hot August summer day here in San Antonio when Sam & Natasha said their I Do’s! But even with the heat, the bride was stunning and beautiful and the groom all smiles and handsome!

But before they headed out into the heat the guys got ready at a really cool little hotel called Aloft. Eric was over there getting shots of the guys getting ready, and got some great photos of them in the lobby and bar!

The wedding was at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. I love this part of the gardens – with its picturesque pond, trees and cabin in the woods. It made for the perfect backdrop to their ceremony.

I met up with Lori on a beautiful morning at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. We were meeting up to do a photo shoot of her to send off to her deployed husband.

Lori is such a beautiful girl with a cute sweet personality… he is one lucky soldier!!

Wedding – Masey (San Antonio Botanical Gardens)

I had a short notice call from a fellow photographer who wanted some help for a very small wedding at the Botanical Gardens the next day. My schedule was free – so I said, sure – why not! I’m always up for the gardens. They have so many beautiful backdrops for photos!!!

The couple was awesome! She was in this amazing dress and heels and still willing and eager to walk all over the garden paths – even to the back cabin! Bless her heart – she had it lifted up to her knees in the front, and the groom was dutifully carrying the train from the behind as she stepped over logs and dirt trails!

After all of that i wasn’t surprised to learn that he is an Active Duty Marine, and she is a former Marine. So I guess that explains their willingness to traipse all over without a second thought!

Krystal contacted me a while back wanting coverage for a small morning wedding at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. I was watching the weather all week.. One day the prediction was for rain on Saturday and th next day it was clear. Well, it turned out to be a beautiful cool clear morning… Perfect morning for an outdoor wedding!!!

The Groom, Brad, just graduated and is working in Financial Consulting here in SA… His beautiful bride Krystal is at Texas Tech and will finish up her degree in Social work this semester and then she will be moving down here.

Thanks for letting me cover this special day for you two!

I still have a few hundred images to go through and edit – but these were some that I wanted yall to see right away! Hope you have a blast in Ft Lauderdale!!!!
